BangaloreBlogs was founded in 2025 as an independent guide to Bangalore and to India's growing game development industry. The premise is simple: most "best of" lists online are paid placements. Ours are not. Every studio directory, restaurant pick, college ranking and area guide here is researched and ordered on merit, not on who pays.
What we cover
The site is organised into a few clear areas: India's game development industry (studio directories across Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai, plus costs and statistics); Bangalore food and cafes; education — colleges, schools and training institutes; travel and weekend getaways; tech and business; health services; lifestyle; and places — the neighbourhoods, lakes, parks and transport that make up the city.
About the editor
L.K. Monu Borkala is the founder and editor-in-chief of BangaloreBlogs. He is the founder of OneCity Technologies Pvt Ltd (established 2004), a Bangalore-based digital marketing agency serving 650+ clients, and brings more than 20 years of experience in SEO and content strategy. He previously built CollegeMarker.com from the ground up and sold it in a ₹25 lakh acquisition. He writes and edits with a practical, resident's-eye view of the city.
